One of the oldest cemeteries in Cobb County, predating the county itself, was acquired by the trust through a quit claim deed from the church and given to Cobb County.

The county incorporated the cemetery into Heritage Park.  Future development of an historic interpretive center near the cemetery will lend protection to the site, which has been the victim of years of vandalism and neglect.
